SPECIAL ISSUE: Some Commonly Held Beliefs about Education in New Mexico that are False and Misleading—Walt Murfin and Kim Johnson, President’s Message —Terry Dunbar, Announcement of the 2012 Annual Meeting.

The common beliefs examined include:

  • Poverty is the Demographic Factor Most Strongly Associated with School Performance
  • Small Schools Tend to be Superior
  • High Performing Schools Also Usually Have High Growth
